Four high school friends plan to ride out their senior year taking easy classes, including a program for housing foreign exchange students and eventually all attending Ohio State. Hurdles befall each of the four: grades, higher aspirations, love. Is it the Foreign Exchange students that learn from their host or the hosts that do more of the learning? A teen sex comedy in the vein of AMERICAN PIE. The antsy kids intend to take the easiest classes, and otherwise occupy their time playing host to the school’s sexy new exchange students; in the end, however, the best laid plans (and best plans to get laid) end up thwarted by love, grades, and nosiest of adults.

When the owner of a minor landscaping service company, Gus, sees Nelson being abused by a group of baseball players, he defends the boy. The paperboy, Clark, tells them that his friend Richie and he have never played baseball so Gus invites them to play in the late afternoon. However, they are challenged by the bullies and they defeat the guys. The millionaire father of Nelson, Mel, invites Gus, Clark and Richie to form a team called The Benchwarmers and they become the sensation of the league, with a legion of outcast cheering for the team. However, when Gus’ behavior during his childhood is discovered, the team and fans are affected.
